PRIVACY STATEMENT- CALIFORNIA AND OTHER STATES (“NOTICE”)

Certain states, including California and Virginia, require additional information regarding our privacy practices and your privacy rights. Depending on whether you are a resident of those states (“Consumer” or “you”), we provide you additional notices about our privacy practices and consumer rights relating to your personal information or personal data (“Personal Information”). This Notice supplements the information contained in the Privacy Policy of Ryder and its subsidiaries (collectively, “we,” “us,” or “our”). The California Consumer Privacy Act of 2018 (“CCPA”), as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (“CPRA”), as well as privacy laws in Virginia afford consumers residing in California and Virginia certain rights with respect to their Personal Information. If you are a resident of those states, this Notice applies to you as indicated.
This Notice uses certain terms that have the meaning given to them in the CCPA (as amended by the CPRA) and its implementing regulations.
California Civil Code Section 1798.83 allows individuals who are residents of California and have provided their personally identifiable information to us may request information regarding our disclosures, if any, of their personally identifiable information to third parties for direct marketing purposes. This request may be made no more than once per calendar year. We reserve the right not to respond to requests submitted other than to the addresses specified in this paragraph.
Information We Collect
We may collect Personal Information from you in a variety of different situations, including, but not limited to on any of our websites, your mobile device, through email, in physical locations, through the mail, over the telephone, and/or in any other situation where we interact with you. More specifically, depending on the services rendered or sites visited and on the particular Business Purpose for which we collect it, we have collected the following categories of Personal Information from Consumers within the last twelve (12) months (Not all categories will be collected or received for every individual.):

We obtain the categories of personal information listed above from the following categories of sources:
- Directly from you or your agents. For example, from documents that our customers provide to us related to the services for which they engage us.
- Indirectly from you or your agents. For example, through information we collect from our customers in the course of providing services to them.
- Directly and indirectly from activity on our websites or apps. For example, from submissions through our website portal or website usage details collected automatically.
- From third-parties that interact with us in connection with the services we perform.
Use of Personal Information
We may use or disclose the Personal Information we collect for one or more of the following business purposes, to:
- Fulfill or meet the purpose for which you provided the information. For example, if you disclose your name and contact information to ask us a question or inquire about our products or services, we will use that Personal Information to respond to your inquiry. If you win a prize of a certain dollar value, we may use your information, as part of an affidavit required for awarding the prize.
- Provide you with information, products or services that you request from us.
- Confirm and complete transactions you request and prevent transactional fraud.
- Contact you to verify the information you provide to us.
- Provide customer support (including, responding to your requests), troubleshoot and resolve problems and disputes.
- Provide you with email alerts, event registrations and other notices concerning our products or services, or events or news, that may be of interest to you.
- Carry out our obligations and enforce our rights arising from any contracts entered into between you and us, including for billing and collections.
- Improve our website and present its contents to you.
- Understand and anticipate your needs and preferences.
- For testing, research, analysis, and product development.
- As necessary or appropriate to protect the rights, property or safety of us, our customers or others.
- Provide, support, personalize, and develop our website, products, and services.
- Create, maintain, customize, and secure your account with us.
- Provide you with support and to respond to your inquiries, including to investigate and address your concerns and monitor and improve our responses.
- Help maintain the safety, security, and integrity of our App or Website, products and services, databases and other technology assets, and business.
- Develop, enhance, and market our products and services or the products and services of third parties.
- Comply with, monitor compliance with and enforce our Privacy Policy, our Terms of Use and any other applicable agreements and policies;
- Develop, enhance and market our products and services or the products and services of third parties;
- Provide you with promotional materials, offers and personalized information;
- Manage our business and operations;
- Meet legal and regulatory requirements;
- Provide administrative communications to you;
- Apply User Generated Content, as permitted in our Terms of Use; and
- Achieve other purposes as may be disclosed in this Privacy Policy or when you provide personally identifiable information.
- Respond to law enforcement requests and as required by applicable law, court order, or governmental regulations.
- As described to you when collecting your personal information or as otherwise set forth in the CCPA (as amended by CPRA).
- Evaluate or conduct a merger, divestiture, restructuring, reorganization, dissolution, or other sale or transfer of some or all of our assets, whether as a going concern or as part of bankruptcy, liquidation, or similar proceeding, in which personal information held by us is among the assets transferred.
We will not collect additional categories of personal information or use the personal information we collected for materially different, unrelated, or incompatible purposes without providing you notice.
Disclosures of Personal Information for a Business Purpose

We do not use or disclose sensitive personal information for the purpose of inferring characteristics about you. We will not retain your Personal Information for longer than is reasonably necessary to carry out the purposes we disclose in this policy.
California Sales and Sharing of Personal Information
California law provides for certain disclosures about Personal Information we “sell,” which means certain scenarios in which we have disclosed Personal Information with third parties or affiliates, in exchange for valuable consideration. In the preceding twelve (12) months, have not sold Personal Information.
The California law also requires that we notify you if we “Share” your Personal Information with third parties. For purposes of the CPRA, “Sharing” means that we make available or otherwise disclose your information to third parties for cross-context behavioral advertising, such as targeting of advertising to you based on your Personal Information obtained from your activity across businesses, websites, apps, and services other than our Services.” In the preceding twelve (12) months, we have not shared your Personal Information.
We do not sell any personal information for any purposes.
Shine the Light
California law permits residents of California to request certain details about how their information is shared with third parties for direct marketing purposes. We do not share your information with third parties for their direct marketing purposes.
California Notice of Financial Incentive
California’s privacy law requires that we notify you if we provide you a program, benefit, or other offering, related to the collection, deletion, or sale of Personal Information, which it defines as a “financial incentive.” We offer coupons, gift cards and other product incentives (“incentives”) to prospective and current customers. Sometimes, consumers sign up or provide us their Personal Information (e.g., email address) in order to receive incentives. As such, under the CCPA, our incentives may be considered financial incentives provided in exchange for the collection and retention of Personal Information.
We offer these incentives to enhance our relationship with you or so you can enjoy or try our products at a lower price. There is no obligation to opt-in and consumers may opt-out at any time. The details of each program are contained in each such program offering.
Your Consumer Rights and Choices
Subject to certain limitations, you have the right to (1) request to know more about the categories and specific pieces of Personal Information we collect, use, disclose, and sell, and to access your information, (2) request correction of your Personal Information, (3) request deletion of your Personal Information and (4) limit the use or disclosure of your sensitive personal information (SPI).
1.Request to Access My Personal Information: You have the right to request access to the personal information we may have collected about you.
Requests to access your personal information may be submitted up to two times in a rolling twelve-month period. In response, we will return to you the following categories of information, to the extent required by law:
- The categories of personal information we have collected about you.
- The categories of sources from which we collect your personal information.
- The business or commercial purpose for collecting, selling, or sharing your personal information.
- The categories of third parties to whom we disclose personal information.
- The specific pieces of personal information we have collected about you.
- A list of categories of personal information that we have sold or shared for cross-context behavioral advertising, along with the categories of third parties we sold it to or shared it with for cross-context behavioral advertising.
- A list of categories of personal information that we have disclosed for a business purpose, along with the categories of third parties we disclosed it to.
2. Delete My Personal Information: You have the right to ask that we delete your personal information. Once we receive a request, we will delete the personal information (to the extent required by law) we hold about you as of the date of your request from our records and direct our service providers to do the same. Choosing to delete your personal information may impact your ability to use our websites and online features.
3. Correct My Personal Information: You have the right to ask that we correct the personal information we may have collected about you if that information is inaccurate. We reserve the right to request identifying documentation from you in certain circumstances, as permitted by law.
4. Limit the Use and Disclosure of SPI: You have the right to ask that we limit our use and disclosure of your SPI to certain purposes permitted by law.
Exercising Your Rights
To exercise the access, data portability, and deletion rights described above, please submit a verifiable consumer request to us by either:

Only you or a person registered with the California Secretary of State that you authorize to act on your behalf, may make a verifiable consumer request related to your personal information. You may also make a verifiable consumer request on behalf of your minor child.
The verifiable consumer request must:
- Provide sufficient information that allows us to reasonably verify you are the person about whom we collected personal information or an authorized representative.
- Describe your request with sufficient detail that allows us to properly understand, evaluate, and respond to it.
We cannot respond to your request or provide you with personal information if we cannot verify your identity or authority to make the request and confirm the personal information relates to you. Making a verifiable consumer request does not require you to create an account with us. We will only use personal information provided in a verifiable consumer request to verify the requestor's identity or authority to make the request.
Non-Discrimination
We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of your CCPA rights. Unless permitted by the CCPA, we will not:
- Deny you goods or services.
- Charge you different prices or rates for goods or services, including through granting discounts or other benefits, or imposing penalties.
- Provide you a different level or quality of goods or services.
- Suggest that you may receive a different price or rate for goods or services or a different level or quality of goods or services.

Changes to Our Privacy Notice
We reserve the right to amend this privacy notice at our discretion and at any time. When we make changes to this privacy notice, we will notify you by email or through a notice on our website homepage.
